| | Tommy Rynick This Road I Travel CD (2006)
Audiophile Reference 2: Popular Music songs
$16.45 Hi; I’m Tommy Rynick and welcome to This Road I Travel. This album is a compilation of four traditional gospel songs and eight songs I have written over the last several years. The songs I wrote for this album, reflect the emotions I went through from the time I was in a very bad head on car accident, up to a point in time when I had a chance to look back at my life and realized, what a wonderful life I have. I finally feel that I have found my purpose in this life, what a wonderful experience it has been so far. Over the last few years, fans and friends began asking me to do another album of the songs I had written, but I had already made a promise to the Lord that if I was ever to record another album, it would have to be a Gospel album. I have always enjoyed good gospel music, but I really prefered the fiddles and steel guitars and the sounds of traditional country music. So I conjured up a pot pouri of some good, strong lyrics, combined with some good old fashion country music, and with a lot of help from our Lord above, here is;;;;; THIS ROAD I TRAVEL. People have always compared my siinging with Marty Robbins and Leroy Van Dyke, and my music with that of Floyd Cramer, but I feel, my music reflects the music of Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, who have always been among my favorites, and who I have been given the honor of opening up for their shows. I also feel a big influence of Waylon Jennings in my music, he was another of my favorites. I feel these artists have remained true to the traditionl realm, with just enough oomph, to make their music interesting. ...
