Larry was one of the greatest artist of his time. Such a short life and dearly missed. His songs in German are so wonderful even though I can't understand them

3 stars Old Memories
When I was 16 I loved DEAR ONE and the flip side CANDY LIPS. Original year for these songs were circa 1963. I never did hear the entire album. I do not understand German. I feel $21.39 is a bit high for a CD of an artist whom not too many people knew of, even in my times, not too much air play. I don't know if the songs ever made to the top ten. Mike

The unnerving tale of Fosca, an ugly, sickly woman, and her love for a handsome but indifferent soldier who is involved with a married woman, PASSION is in many ways Stephen Sondheim's darkest, grimmest show. It is also, however, a moving tribute to the healing powers of love and arguably, his most ambitious work to date. This is no ordinary musical full of showstoppers that will leave the audience humming. Rather, this is a sinuous musical tapestry more suited to the kind of detailed psychological explorations Sondheim is famous for.
