Animated; Closed Captioned; Standard Screen; Soundtrack English This release from the animated Bible-inspired VEGGIETALES series puts an Easter twist on the classic Dickens tale. Set in 1880s London, Ebenezer Nezzer is a money-hungry peddler of Easter tchotchkes who cares more about his revenue than he does about Jesus. | | Krisiun Conquerors Of Armageddon CD (2000)
Veggietales - An Easter Carol review
$8.99 Krisiun: Alex Camargo (vocals, bass); Moyses Kolesne (guitar); Max Kolesne (drums). Recorded at Stage One Studios, Buehne, Germany between November and December 1999. Krisiun is not a band that puts a lot of emphasis on experimenting or on trying to achieve a radically original sound. Instead, they just keep on honing their attack, focusing on making their music even faster and heavier (to the narrow extent that that is possible). Conquerors of Armageddon is their third official album, and it is basically just a bigger and (arguably) better version of what you hear on their first two: Morbid Angel-influenced death metal that overflows with blasting drumbeats, guttural guitar/bass riffs, growled-out vocals, and completely over-the-top guitar solos. For those keeping score, this album may not be quite as fast as Black ...
| | Low Christmas CD (1999) Extended Play
Veggietales - An Easter Carol DVD
$10.49 Low: Alan Sparhawk (vocals, guitar); Mimi Parker (vocals, percussion); Zak Sally (bass). Recording information: 20 Below, Duluth, MN. In their liner notes, Low hopes that their fans, "...will consider this our gift to you. Best wishes." Those who are already fans should be more than pleased with this little morsel. Throughout Christmas Low's trademark simplicity of instrumentation allows the listener to hear every nuance and crystalline detail. Beginning with "Just Like Christmas," we find the band at their poppiest with a drum sound and sleigh bells worthy of a restrained Phil Spector session. Mimi Parker's warm vibrato makes an irresistible mantra of the titular refrain. The album highlight "Blue Christmas" would have been doomed to a kitschy fate in most hands, but Mimi Parker's voice captures the broken-hearted melancholy of the original while eschewing any obvious Elvis references. The cover of "Silent Night" doesn't fare as well; the band fails to add anything of note to this holiday standard. Christmas also includes several songs that could alienate more secular listeners, especially "If You Were Born Today" which is chock-full of biblical references and paints an ...

Veggietales - An Easter Carol movie DVD
$9.65 Explicit Lyrics

Producers: Matt Dike, Michael Ross, The Dust Brothers. Recorded at Delicious Vinyl Studios, Hollywood, California. A forgotten man in the rise of West Coast rap, Tone-Loc was effectively cut off from his hometown scene in Los Angeles by his unexpected pop success. Paced by the singles "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina" -- both co-written by a pre-fame Young MC, and some of the earliest productions by the legendary Dust Brothers -- Loc's debut album, Loc-ed After Dark, became the second rap album to top the pop charts, following the Beastie Boys' ...
