Soundtrack English After his mother dies and his father goes to Japan on a business trip, eight-year-old Mark is sent to live for a few weeks with his cousin Henry and his family. Although Mark is initially happy playing with Henry, he soon begins to suspect that all is not right with the seemingly innocent-looking young boy. Macaulay Culkin goes bad in this story about a boy who tries to eliminate his family members one by one. Elijah Wood, who has gone on to an impressive career as an adult, costars. Audiences should see the 1956 movie, THE BAD SEED, for an interesting comparison. Macaulay and Quinn Culkin are siblings in real life as well as in the film. A third Culkin, Rory, can be seen as Richard in a photograph featured in the film. Culkin's father reportedly refused to allow Macaulay appear in "Home Alone 2" unless he was given the role of Henry in "The Good Son."

$7.75 From Walt Disney Pictures comes MIRACLE, an inspiring family drama that combines hockey and history in retelling the story of one of sports' all-time greatest upsets. In 1980, amidst the tense political climate of the Cold War, Herb Brooks (Kurt Russell) took over as coach of the U.S. Olympic hockey team. With the help of affable assistant coach Craig Patrick (Noah Emmerich), Brooks selected a group of twenty amateur hockey players who faced the daunting task of bringing respectability to their country's floundering program. While Brooks was well aware that his team lacked the talent and experience of the team from Russia, he nonetheless devoted his energy to realizing his lifelong dream: to coach a team to Olympic gold.
Stepping into the gaudy wardrobe of the legendary Brooks (who was a consultant on the film and died in an automobile accident just after production wrapped), Russell delivers one of ...

$21.49 This powerful drama considerably ups the ante of the prison film genre by getting real-life prisoners to play themselves in a drama that spirals into unexpected despair for its protagonists. Directed by Mohammad Rosoulof, who made his name on the Iranian film scene as a documentary filmmaker, TWILIGHT follows a newly married couple who are both incarcerated. The rulers of the prison system believes the marriage will help in their rehabilitation, but when they finally get to experience life outside the prison gates their naivety finds them at the mercy of a cruel, judgmental society. A wonderfully inventive piece, the casting gives Rosoulof's film a valuable air of authenticity, with the actors really rising to the challenge of portraying two lost souls at the mercy of ...

Good Son video
$32.75 The fish out of water detective comedy MCCLOUD was, alongside COLUMBO and MCMILLAN & WIFE, part of the early 1970s renaissance in mystery programs on the NBC network. Using the trope of contrasting between the social mores of the country and city to satirize both, MCCLOUD was inspired by the Clint Eastwood film COOGAN'S BLUFF. Sam McCloud (Dennis Weaver) is a policeman from New Mexico who chases a criminal across multiple state borders, eventually finding himself in New York City. There, he catches his man, but in the process falls in love with reporter Chris Coughlin (Diana Muldaur). Her brother is the police commissioner, and so McCloud is able to remain in the Big Apple as part of program ...
