Vanishing Point Reviews:
"In a time when vacant retreads such as THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS are the problem, VANISHING POINT is the answer." -- Peter Kenis, Rolling Stone.
The first time I ever saw this classic I was only ten . This has to be the absolute best car chase movie ever made. Being a Mopar man myself i've tried for years to get O A 5599 on my cuda's license plates for ten years with no luck. By ptrbnthbox (Newman ILL USA)
The Point is Still Clear I recall watching this film at a drive-in, back in the day when movies about loners who rejected society's rules were pretty standard in Hollywood, and being wowed by the chase sequences and the solid performances by Barry Newman and Cleavon Little. Such a long time ago, but still great! My mother took me to see this movie when I was 13-14 yrs. old. I have wanted a 1970 Challenger white in color with a pistol grip shifter ever since. By Mike (Alabama)
3 Stars for the car----- I saw this movie at the drive in when it was released. It was sad when the producers towed a white 68 Camaro by cable into the dozers. By raymond.marquis (New Hampshire)
