The best eddie murphy skit is,and the reason I'm getting this on DVD is the skit he did James Brown in the hot tub.
It still makes me laugh just thinking about him. Absolutly his funniest.4 stars in my opinion.

Murphy at his best on Saturday Night Live in the 80's!
Eddie Murphy was so hilarious on TV that I remembered he made me laugh. My favorite character comedy sketch moments Murphy did has got to be Mister Robinson's Neighbourhood, Gumby, Stevie Wonder and Buckwheat.

This dvd of Eddie Murphy's skits on SNL is hilarious...but, there is simply not enough of the "Gumby" skits on it. There's only one about Christmas and it was in no way the funniest of any of the Gumby skits. Gumby was my favorite Eddie Murphy character and I expected to see more. I was disappointed a bit by this, but overall, it's a good buy.

I absolutely love this DVD!!! It was a gift, but as soon as it was opened we were all watching it and reminiscing over when SNL used to be a great show; my favorite is still Little Richard Simmons!!!! A must have to any Eddie Murphy collection!!!

Let us all be thankful that Ozzy's retirement didn't stick. It supposedly lasted for three days, after which he got bored and started working on this project. Heavy, riff-intensive tunes, progressive song structures and a little psychedelia give OZZMOSIS a definite Sabbath flavor. Ozzy must have been in touch with whatever inspired early classics like PARANOID and MASTERS OF REALITY. Witness the extremely chunky "Thunder Underground," which can stand up next to "Sweet Leaf" and "Symptom Of The Universe" as an archetype of hard rock. The trippy guitar in "Ghost Behind My Eyes" and "Denial" are not some young Ozzy-wannabe going for a retro sound--this man was there, "Planet Caravan"ing.
Still, this heavy metal daddy in touch with his roots is also hip to the genre's latest sound. OZZMOSIS has a live, up-front feeling, thanks to producer Michael Beinhorn (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soundgarden). Zakk Wylde's huge, raw guitar also plays a major role. He provides scorching solos, lush textures and juicy fills with a muscular tone and minimal effects--the perfect complements to Osbourne's songwriting.
