Little House On The Prairie - Season 4 DVD

 Memories!
This season was awesome...just like the three! The episodes brought back so many childhood memories of watching this lovely show. It portrays good morals and values which is hard to find nowadays. It is a great collection to have which I will pass down to my children and their children. The money is well worth it! I can't wait for season five!! Thankyou!

 Little House Family
It's always great to be invited back into the Little House Family for another season, and I was thrilled to see yet another season released so soon after the last one. Our family has only worked its way through half of Season IV so far, as we enjoy savoring each episode. One thing we've noticed is that the episodes have become increasingly mature in content and theme since season III, as compared to seasons I & II. Divorce, for example, was a recent topic, as was infidelity in another episode. Our daughter, who started out loving Little House from the very beginning, has begun to express frustration over the seeming shift from Laura Ingalls Wilder's girlhood experiences to what seems to be an attempt at more adult-directed programming to fit the topics of contemporary culture. Another change - whether a correlating factor or not - is that Michael Landon has stopped writing the episodes (during mid-season III), though he still directs and produces. Still, we enjoy each episode to its fullest and eagerly await the release of season V. Oh, and we miss Mr. Edwards (Victor French) and his family this season! We're puzzled by the lack of explanation as to their vanishing act!
