I just bought this CD by Rolando Villazón; it is fabulous find. He is incredible singing these Italian opera arias. His voice isn't beautiful like Pavarotti's (or Di Stefano's or Wunderlich's), but that is no real criticism since few tenors' voices are. It is a very pleasant voice with a tight vibrato and is pretty seamless, bottom to top. And what ringing top notes! The biggest plus, is that he is an intelligent singer who can really act with his voice! His dynamics, diction, breath-control, and phrasing are spectacular. I am in love! Run, don't walk, to get this CD.
