| This is George Harrison's ultimate album.
This one is superb (*****!!) I have a complete catalogue of George's albums over the years, but his latest offer simply knocked me out. The guitars were all over and the melodies were superbly arranged. I like in particular the songs "Run So Far" and "Stuck Inside a Cloud". But the best track for me is "Rocking Chair in Hawaii", for the simple reason that his lead vocal is unusual. The title track has lament in the way we are "Living in the Material World", and when you listen to "Marwa Blues" with your eyes closed, you're in for a dream, you feel like never waking up again. This guitar laden track is out of this world. Generally, each song has a different taste, yet it is recognizably Harrison. This is a far better album than the one released by Paul McCartney last year called "Driving Rain". Im very much confident that there are still available unheard songs inside the vaults of the Harrison estate. Thank you George for this one. Wishing for more in the coming years.

| A Great Album
One of the great trademarks of George's career was that he never cared about treads. Down through the years we fans were spared a "Disco George", a "Grunge George" or a "Punk George". We always instead got "George", plain and simple. Slide guitar, Intelligent Lyrics, Subtle Understatement, these were his legacy. That "trend" concluded with "Brainwashed". This is a marvelous album. Kudos to Duani and Jeff Lynne for putting the finishing touches on the record but always allowing George the spotlight. The album should be taken as a whole and enjoyed from start to finish. There is talk that the other albums in his catalog will be remastered with bonus tracks and/or a box set retrospective. Hopefully these will be the forums in which any unreleased tracks will appear and not another attempt at a "final" CD. This is the perfect coda album.

| GEORGE'S 2ND BEST EFFORT-BUT STILL 5 STARS
IF THIS MUSIC DOES NOT MOVE YOU, THEN YOU ARE ALREADY DEAD. GEORGE'S VOCAL RANGE IS THE BEST I HAVE HEARD FROM HIM(ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING ILLNESS) AND HIS SLIDE GUITAR IS MEMORABLE.

| George at his best
George is in his best voice, lyrics are introspective and the slide guitar work shines through the whole cd. A glowing gem that capsulizes his career.

| Beautiful
The songs on this album are related to those from throughout George Harrison's solo career, but the consistency of the music and the album's purpose makes this his best album since All Things Must Pass. The one big advantage of this album over that classical album is the consistent, stunning beauty of Harrison's guitar playing. You'd be hard pressed to find better slide guitar playing anywhere. Lyrically, Brainwashed deals with dying in a mature, peaceful, upbeat manner.
