this cd is off the hook. true to his words like tupac. bay area rap is better than the mainstream. my favorite song on this cd is the first one. "northern california" you know? come on people! give out your opinion!

I love this album. From the beginning , track #1, "Northern California"... This young baby boy gives us a dose of how genius he really is. Really though, has anybody you know ever been able to sum up the Northern California rap game? Let alone in 1 song? And this album keeps getting better. "Butterfly" and "Always be your Daddy", hits the soft spots we all have but don't always admit. And all the guest appearances including Fully Loaded, E-40, Keak, Killa tay, Guce, even Quinn's Jr. on "Mass Crack". Quinn's unquestionabley a young man beyond his years.

For generations, the sound of the Santoor has been used by the people of Kashmir to echo the vast beauty of its surrounding mountain landscapes. Until Shiv Kumar Sharma came along the Santoor was categorised as a simple folk instrument in India. Prompted by his father and teacher Pandit Umadutt Sharma, he set about re-inventing the Santoor, introducing a series of modifications to increase its tonal range and improve its ability to sustain notes; making it suitable to fulfil the demands of Indian classical music.The Santoor is part of a larger global family, which includes the Chinese 'Yag Chin' the Eastern European 'Cymbalon', 'Hammered Dulcimer', and Greek 'Santoori'. According to musicologists, the Santoor has evolved from the harp and was previously known by its Sanskrit name 'Shathatantri Veena', or the 'hundred string lute'.
