Just when you expect a decline in quality from age, lack of creativity, interest, as an example Michael Schenker, out comes this awesome Axel disc. What more can say about Axel and the band when you listen to this disc? This is their best disc in years and those previous are all great. Who does heavy and melodic better and/or more consistantly? There is no filler here. Strong as a rock is an awesome anthem. The slower stuff is great as always. Solid throughout and as always a worthy purchase. I hope the next one is as good! WB

 Great Cd Axel Rudi Pell
Well Im iteresed for this cd because all of the music of Axel its great riffs something influence of Richie Blackmore, but this cd its great recomend for all of fans of Hard Rock and great riffs

 Consistent stellar music from Axel, Johnny and the boys
If you like the previous works from Axel with Johnny on the lead vocals you will not be disappointed with this disc. There are some great rockers on here; cold heaven, strong as a rock and the ballads are good (not as good as the ones on Shadow Zone). Overall though you have to love the consistency of the great music that is produced. 80's rock rules!

 Whoa...
If you ever are or were into ballad type metal, shoot yourself in the kneecap if you live another day w/out this album. ZOMG "Strong as a Rock" has one of the catchiest ballad riffs ever, and "Legions of Hell" is the coolest damn song I've ever heard

 How I Love It
Never heard them at one point. Then my good friend Mitch, who wrote a review as well, said he had a song to show me. As a music lover(except rap), I wanted to hear it. The little intro to "flyin' High" was pretty catchy, then I hear this snare roll into a sweet guitar riff and mad drums. I'd say it was love at first sight, but I heard it, I didn't see it. All in all, I had become an instant fan and I listened to that song so much. There were also the other songs from the cd, which again, I fell in love with. It's one of those bands that stuck out in my mind, and I'd just like to say, thanks for the art of your music. I really appreciate it guys.
