| | Hullabaloo-Live At Zenith DVD Muse CDS
Japanese NTSC / Region 2 double DVD set (not playable on standard US DVD players).Recorded live in concert at the Le Zenith in Paris in October 2001. The tracklist includes, 'Dead Star', 'Microcuts', 'Sunburn', 'Showbiz', 'Uno', 'Screenager', 'Feeling Good', 'In Your World', 'Cave', 'New Born', 'Hyper Music', 'Agitated', 'Unintended' and 'Bliss'. Hullaballo is offered with a DTS or Dolby 5.1 surround sound, which can only lead to one thing: air guitar in the living room. Along with the 16:9 picture format, this DVD really does blow you away with the sheer power of the band's live performance. Disc one offers the concert footage along with track listings allowing you to flip to your favorite song. Disc two offers a selection of extra features and footage. Of these is the 40-minute film on the band's on and off-stage shenanigans, which looks as if a film student had just found a 'cool' new feature on his digital camera (though the superb impression of Slipknot is not to be missed). The 'Discography' is truly unique as it doesn't just list the albums, it also plays excerpts. The 'Front Cover' section offers a host of magazine cover shots showing just how far the threesome have come in the past year; not just in Britain but across the world. Hullabaloo-Live At Zenith film
$15.05 With The Fall, Norah Jones completes the transition away from her smooth cabaret beginnings and toward a mellowly arty, modern singer/songwriter. Jones began this shift on 2007's Not Too Late, an album that gently rejected her tendencies for lulling, tasteful crooning, ...

Hullabaloo-Live At Zenith review
$19.98 It's a commonly held opinion among fans and band alike that Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers' lone live album, 1986's Pack Up the Plantation, didn't quite capture the group at its peak, so there has been a long-standing need for another live set, which 2009's Live Anthology finally provides. Like its closest cousin, Bruce Springsteen's Live 1975-1985, Live Anthology almost overcompensates for the long wait by offering almost too much music, cherrypicking highlights from 1978 to 2007. In its simplest incarnation, Live Anthology is a super-affordable, ...

Hullabaloo-Live At Zenith DVD
$12.95 It's no secret that John Mayer is a 21st Century Fox, wining and dining women all through tabloid headlines, so it's about time he delivered an album that traded upon his loverman persona -- and Battle Studies is that record in spades. Retaining more than a modicum of the slick, soul-blues undertones of Continuum, ...

$18.25 Scott McGinley's late 90's Project BLISS was born out of the already successful NEW RELIGION. "Discovered" by record impresario Terry Ellis (fromer owner of Chrysalis), while touring in Asia, McGinley was flown to LA to record the new BLISS album with some of todays best musicians (Jason Scheff-CHICAGO,Tim Peirce and David Raven), producers (legendary Keith Olsen) and singers (Alex Ligertwood-SANTANA). After the recording was done, a touring band was put together and sent back on the road throughout Asia, where BLISS racked up 4 top 10 hits, 3 top 10 MTV videos and played for millions.Strains with the label shelved the project after 2 years, McGinley went on to form the regionally successful INSIDERS and the brand new POP IS ART. ...more @ popisart ....Don't forget to check out Scott's other projects: "New Religion", "The Insiders", and the new "Pop is Art" Ultra Sound of the MonthMalaysia, January 1999 Singer Scott McGinley's voice lends upbeat-ness to 'serious' numbers like Even if You Go, First And Last, and Cry Baby Cry, while at the same time grounding the seemingly flighty, groovy Baby He Loves You. And there's outright sensuality in Bigger Than Us Both and Tonight, Tonight. McGinley also writes most of the original material- with Nothing being a collaboration between him, keyboardist Patrick McCabe, and Thai group P.O.P. Hey Boy takes the cake for being the most honest song on the record, succinctly documenting the crap an aspiring musician has to endure for that all- elusive break; and then realising the so- called big-time sucks, big-time. Although they do not really need to, Bliss covers the Bee Gees classic Run To Me, Genisis' Follow You, Follow Me, and Tears For Fears' Everybody Wants To Rule The World. All are laudable efforts. There is a lack of homogeneity on the album, which puts it above others in its class. Keyboardist Patrick McCabe earns his keep by being the brilliant maestro who holds the threads of the musical landscape together. It is clear that not only are Bliss performers, they are also precise, technically- adept musicians. Blissful ...
