The soundtrack to Eurotrip, a comedy about American teens running amok in Europe, features American punk-pop tunes running amok among excerpts from the film, as well as a few European pop and rock tunes. Most of the punk-pop, such as Wakefield's cover of "Wild One" and Cauterize's "Shooting Stars," is bratty and energetic, but almost completely interchangeable; however, Lustra's "Scotty Doesn't Know" is cheeky enough to stand out and, along with the very silly Europop parody "Scotty Doesn't Know [Euro Version]," it becomes part of a running joke on the soundtrack. This joke works better than some of the album's other jokey moments, such as Chapeaumelon's en Français cover of "My Generation," which is fun for about a minute and then wears out its welcome. On the other hand, the inclusion of David Hasselhoff's amazingly campy "Du" is a stroke of comedic genius that is arguably funnier than anything in Eurotrip itself. The soundtrack quits clowning around long enough to include two genuinely good songs, the Jam's classic "In the City" and Autour de Lucie's breezy "Les Promesses." Linval Thompson's "I Love Marijuana" and Ugly Duckling's "Turn It Up" add some reggae and hip-hop to the mix at the last minute, but overall Eurotrip is a disappointingly provincial collection. ~ Heather Phares

I'm disappointed. Where's the Man U Theme Song? That's All I have to say...Id buy the soundtrack if that was on it. Too bad it isn't. I have the movie and I've seen it a zillion times.

This cant get any better then the others out their...
Soo this cd I have to really say, Has a great tune, Has a great mix of music,and it has the beats going. I call this Soundtrack 1 of the best soundtracks out their. I will say im not a fan of alot of the songs out their But it Has 3 of my favourite songs in it which the movie made me love.
The Movie is incredible. They choose the right songs for the soundtrack and im saying that no other soundtrack can beat this cd. And for a bonus This soundtrack is Best for Partys. So u partiers out their Id say put this soundtrack on and you will have the Best party out their. :D

I dont think that it was necessary to waste space on a Euro version of Scotty Doesnt Know. Also, I find that it was much better in the movie, because it was hillarious to see damon as a punker. :D Ill rate it 4 cause its the thought that counts
