This is a DualDisc, which contains a CD on one side of the disc and a DVD on the other.
After the untimely death of former enigmatic vocalist Bon Scott, AC/DC finally chanced upon a worthy replacement in the shape of former Geordie frontman, Brian Johnson. The result was more than the formal pastiche some expected, with Johnson stamping his own personality, not to mention distinctive rasp, on the record. The band's staple lyrical diet of sex and the general pursuit of happiness, however, remained very much intact. Highlights include the stomping 'Hell's Bells', the quiet build of the title track, and the chuckling insolence of, 'Rock And Roll Ain't Noise Pollution'. A winning return.
This new release, in the dualdisc format offers a full-length CD album on one side and and a DVD featuring the full album, usually in surround sound, along with videos, behind-the-scenes footage and a wide array of bonus material, including lyrics, biographies, PC content and more. Dualdisc format plays on existing CD and DVD players. The DVD side includes the album in LPCM Stereo, the film "Story of Back in Black" featuring band interviews, archival footage, in-studio performances, more.

Who'd a-thunk it? After Bon Scott's tragic death, the band rebounds with new singer Brian Johnson and a batch of material that is nothing less than stellar.
Arguably the defintive AC/DC album - a must-have.

When Matchbox Twenty's first album became a hit, some critics lumped the band in with flash-in-the-pan rock acts of the day. The Bardo Pond brothers, John and Michael Gibbons, team with bandmembers Clint Takeda and Jason Kourkonis for this two-track, 69-minute loopy, expansive, free-form foray into acid-drenched psychedelia called Baikal. The sticker on the package refers to Last Exit, but this is about as far as it gets from that dense space, no matter how outside it gets. One can think more in terms of the improvisational aspects of the Bevis Frond or a more guitar-centric Grails for this puppy.
