The Entrained is an acoustic rock band based out of Seneca, Illinois. 'But, we're not folk,' states founder/singer/songwriter Dan Rub. 'All my songs originate from my acoustic guitar, but I write in so many different styles; it's hard to put my music into any one genre. I call it 'acoustic rock' or 'acoustic pop,' if there is such a thing, but it's definitely not folk.'Rub (pronounced "RÅ«b") has been writing music since first learning to play guitar at age 16.
