Mojo (Publisher) (p.96) - 3 stars out of 5 - "Aya's nectar-sweet voice is tantalisingly seductive throughout....Overall, an impressive showcase." Strange Flower Music Review Average Rating: (4.5 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews Refreshed Aya's project captures what a lot of these sound alike artist that the radio stations are bombarding us with fails to do, for me which is entertain. This cd captures the essence of what ever mood you're in and then propels it to another level, which is a direct result of talented people working together for a common cause. Thanks Aya!!! Like A Vacation I brought this cd with me when I went to Puerto Rico and every time I listen to it, I feel like I'm still on the beach sipping a Pina Colada, Aya's vocals are sweet and perfect and the ambiance of the album is so relaxing. Strange Flower album
$11.69 Too much of a good thing is, well, too much. Listen to the first cut on Blue Six's Beautiful Tomorrow and you'll think, hey, this is sweet: lounge-y warm house music, toasty synth washes that cascade atop a penetrating (but not intrusive) bottom end. This is positive energy, not the seedy late-night vibes often associated with the genre and after-hours clubbing. Each track is a lofty, dreamy soundscape, one that listeners will easily succumb to. But when you fast-forward to 14 tracks later and this is what you're still hearing, you're faced with a decision: Chuck the record because it is painfully mundane as a collection, or take a song or two and put it on a mixed CD. Recommendation: Go for the latter. Beautiful Day is good stuff, but taken in small doses. ~ Liana Jonas
