2003 was a good year for Queensryche. Their album "Tribe" met with both critical and fan praise and marked the first time since 1997 that the original lineup had collaborated on new material. This DVD was from the subsequent tour with Dream Theater and Fate's Warning. Includes all the hits and fan favorites, an "On the Road" travel documentary, shot by the band themselves; also backstage footage, as well as the legendary encore duets with Dream Theater, more. Queensryche's inimitable brand of prog-fuelled heavy metal has seen them build an amazing career, and a loyal following who hang on their every word and chord. This release captures the band performing live in the summer of 2003, and includes many of their best known songs. Tracks include "Empire," "Best I Can," "I Don't Believe In Love," and many others. A Real Disappointment Visually the concert is very boring. Its sepia-tone plus the home video camera shots are the result of a very poor production and the images don't match the sound 'cause they were filmed through the Tribe Tour by the Queensryche crew. There is no Dolby 5.1 option. It is a wonderful performance wasted by the producer itself. Only for QR diehard fans. Submitted by Ivonne (Mexico) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Each new CD/DVD that Queensryche's makes, expands the "empire" with art, passion and great music. Great DVD but too short, only 80 min. of music!!!! Also over the stage together with Dream Theater, for one historic moment they plays
Pink Floyd's and The Who's cover amazingly!!!! Submitted by rokkinhead (Santiago of Chile) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
