Quiet, rocking demo with strong passion, containing members of Hot Water Music. Although the influence can be heard, this album is refreshing, it's different from HWM -- much more laid back and pretty sounding. The vocals are extremely powerful -- delicate but with a rough edge that stands out from other bands. A viola and synthesizer also add beautiful orchestration on some of the songs. This would be much appreciated by fans of Christie Front Drive, Mineral and other such straightforward rocking bands. ~ Blake Butler

| Chemistry For Changing Times Music Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) Heartfelt, soft, powerful. Any fans of Hot Water Music, or the much rarer Cheryl Cro- Mags (later known as "the Cro(w)s.") will recognize the main vocals on this album.
This side project for 3/4 of HWM adds a violin to the mix and tones down the pulse. Very heartfelt, mature, and emotionally powerful. The opening track "Last night.." is fantastic, and more great tracks are peppered on the CD. All ore great, but some are greater. Get this album quickley, as Chris Wollard isn't doing much music for a while due to staying home with the fam. If Emo has a soft side- with out going into soft rock/ alternantive music, then this would be it. Submitted by Andrew agable (Cincinnati, OH, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
