Closed Captioned; Soundtrack English; English Subtitles When Dracula decides to make a lovely young blonde his next victim, he finds he's bitten off a little more than he can chew. The young woman is the niece of a monsignor, and, when the clergyman finds out what happened, he seeks deadly revenge against the vampire.
Now Dracula is about to experience firsthand what it's like to be the prey instead of the hunter. Dracula torments a small town pastor and pursues his young beautiful niece. Oscar-winning cinematographer Freddie Francis completed director duties for this film, replacing Terence Fisher (who directed Hammer Films' two previous "Dracula" movies).

Dracula Has Risen From The Grave Movie Review Average Rating: (3.8 out of 5 stars) Great Movie!!! Maybe the best of Freddie Francis horror movies. Well directed, with an intelligent screenplay and fine perfomances. Great visual moments, good score by James Bernard...Unfforgetable Christopher Lee and Veronica Carlson

Dracula Has Risen From The Grave this movie is pretty,if it wasn,t for the old classic movies like this and others that are older.horror movies wouldn,t be where it is today.i like good old dracula movies. Submitted by drburk41 (burlison,tn) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Dracula's Third Outing It's a shame when you create a main character for a film and then keep his appearances brief. That's the impression one gets here. The storyline seems somewhat dull(A Romeo and Juliet sequence with Dracula caught in the middle of it all). Although Christopher Lee does get to speak a few lines and looks rather menacing when shown, one is forced to admit that the main focus is not on him but on Veronica Carlson and her love interest. However, I have to give the film some credit as well. Some of the photography and various backdrops(like the rooftop scenes)and the part where Dracula visits Maria(Carlson)in her bedroom are both erotic and scary. Also the ending where Dracula meets his doom impaled on a huge gold cross is probably the best of all the Hammer Draculas. Submitted by Mario (San Francisco,Ca,USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Good Story Not as good as Horror of Dracula or Dracula Prince of Darkness but well worth owning.Dracula forcing a preist to do his bidding was good and also staking a vampire is not enough-you must pray! A great ending as well.If you seen the first two you will see how Dracula gets killed a different way in each.Buy it. Submitted by jvlip3 (Milford,CT,USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

| | Tesla Into The Now CD (2004)
Dracula Has Risen From The Grave review
$8.49 Unfairly labeled a hair-metal band, Tesla was always closer to the spirit of vintage 1970s hard rock. When the group released 1994's BUST A NUT, grunge rock was in full swing, and the Sacramento quintet subsequently took their curtain call, keeping busy with low-profile side projects. Testing the waters in 2000, Tesla launched a successful reunion tour, proving the band's enduring appeal. INTO THE NOW stands as their first full-length studio effort in 10 years.
The core of Tesla's sound has been updated with a fresh and contemporary flavor, but it's still very much their own. Jeff Keith's voice retains its heartfelt grit and grease, while guitarists Frank Hannon and Tommy Skeotch have noticeably absorbed some nu-metal influences in the band's downtime. Downtuned, post-grunge riffs drive tracks such as "Miles Away," "Mighty Mouse," and the aptly named title track. Still, Tesla are truly in their element when they tap into the vibe that's endeared them to legions of fans, best evidenced in future classics "Caught Up In A Dream" and "What A Shame."

Dracula Has Risen From The Grave DVD
$14.79 Infamous Spanish horror director Jess Franco created this surprisingly low key and faithful adaptation of the Bram Stoker novel. Christopher Lee, who played the same role in Britain's Hammer Films, does a first rate job as the undead Transylvanian count with a thirst for blood. Frederick Williams is Harker, the young lawyer who travels to the count's castle and winds up a prisoner, while Dracula goes off of to London to seduce his wife, Mina (Maria Rohm). Soledad Miranda plays Lucy, Dracula's first victim, and Klaus Kinski is an unusually underplayed Renfield. This international production has almost a spaghetti-western feel, courtesy the jangly score by Bruno Nicolai, the many zoom shots, and the authentically dusty, on-location scenery (it ...
