Edguy Hellfire Club Songs Hellfire Club Music Review Average Rating: (4.5 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews Alright, classic sound, but newly made It's amazing, how this band reminds me of a mid eighties style rock, but it's not from the eighties! It's a hybrid of new rock combined with a classic sound. Submitted by mrknugget13 (Baltimore, MD) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

A little commecial but still worth its weight in gold Thia album at first listen seemed a little to commecial for me but afrter awhile it really is a fun album the first three songs are will be pleasing for fans and the third song we dont need a hero is classic ,Kiske Helloween style and rise of the morning glory is really a great power balled all in all this is a little less serious lyric wise than some of the other albums or avantasia but its a fun album ,and it brang EDGUY to california i finally got to see the band live and it was unforgetable i even Shook the bands hands much to my surpise they were standing out side on sunset blvd in hollywood ,they rock a combo of helloween and iron maiden so if you like these groups i just mentioned get then CD. very good! I think in this cd, Edguy have managed to surpass in quality their last 2 efforts. Their best album is still Vain glory opera but after it, it is definitely this one!
Very good choruses, Tobias sounds more Dickinson than ever and of course the guitar work is excellent. "Mysteria", "The piper never dies" and "Lavatory love machine" are the best tracks but in general the songs are all good except.....the ballads...This is where they disappoint me. Forever is ok but nothing special and the Spirit will remain is just TOO HIGH for Tobias, i wonder how he doesn't see that! You can see that he's having trouble reaching the note and at the same time keeping the feeling. BUT...its a very good album in general. I think they are on the right track. Bravo for the production too! Submitted by iivorian (cyprus) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Edguy Rocks This cd at first listen seemed a little bit of a sell out with songs like king of fools and lavatory love machine, but once i got through that i was really happy with this release i love mysteria and the piper never dies,so what im saying is this is a quality Cd my only concern for Edguy is that the song does not get to bubblegum and totally sell out ,i hope not because im still getting over Queensryche and Metallica Submitted by Lifehappenss (California) Was This Review Helpful?
