| | Armik Piano Nights CD Armik Discography of CDs
Armik is best known as a Nuevo Flamenco guitarist. However, on PIANO NIGHTS, his compositions revolve around the piano playing of Joe Vannelli. For diehard fans, there is still plenty of fancy guitar work to enjoy, but each song is ultimately propelled by a warm and passionate piano melody.
PIANO NIGHTS is a combination of pop, dance, and most of all, Spanish music. Songs such as "Flames of Passion" and "Caliente" best illustrate the sensuality inherent in Armik's music; the throbbing percussion and the elegant piano trills epitomize this composer's flair for the romantic. Later in the album, selections such as "Rainy Sundays" and "Dreams" find Armik and Vannelli moving in a more subtle, atmospheric, and contemplative direction. The latter also dabbles in jazz balladry. PIANO NIGHTS is an exotic blend of virtuosic flamenco music with seductive refrains and entrancing grooves. This is nocturnal music best savored by candlelight.

| | Armik Amor De Guitarra CD (2003)
Piano Nights CD music
$15.25 Amor De Guitarra is Armik's eighth solo recording and his second release for the Bolero record label. As one of the leaders of a movement that has been called flamenco nuevo or "new flamenco," which combines Spanish flamenco guitar with other Latin forms, this program is a true testament to the Western European style of world music. Amor De Guitarra is also one of Armik's most beautiful efforts since it effectively chronicles his respect, love and joy of playing the flamenco guitar on 11 newly composed songs. This passionate recording reflects Armik's world-class mastery of nuance, chord voicings and international rhythms composed and arranged for solo performers. His use of pre-recorded castanets and horn charts as musical pads bring the lively "Fiesta" full circle -- giving it the celebratory feeling of Spain. "Midnight Bolero" is an exquisite song, colorized with romantic hues and beautifully played as a ballad. It is so beautiful that one's senses are heightened to the point of true nirvana. "Fragile ...

Piano Nights music CDs
$12.69 It's ironic that Bolero Records released this disc to specially coincide with Valentine's Day 2004, as if it's presenting a different, more romantic side of the brilliant modern flamenco player's artistry. The truth is that while he's never gotten the attention that Ottmar Liebert has, Armik's music has been for ten years a vibrant and ultra-sensuous part of the whole nouveau flamenco movement. This hits on the heels of Amor de Guitarra and keeps the love flowing from the get-go, opening with the midtempo dance-driven title track, which blends his sensual strains and string vibrato over sexy percussion lines and instantly catchy horn harmonies. "Moments" slows down to a bright reflective mode, while "Fantasia" ...

Piano Nights songs
$12.79 Perhaps there is nothing so immediately sensual, seductive, and timelessly traditional as Flamenco guitar, and "Nuevo Flamenco" guitarist Armik showcases this to a finely tuned "t" on a collection of 11 compositions. By fusing traditional Spanish Flamenco style with Greek and Middle Eastern flavors, Armik forges work that straddles the New Age and jazz genres while remaining all the time true to its Spanish roots. . On "Timeless," bass, percussion, violins, and other back-up ...

Piano Nights music CDs
$6.49 By virtue of containing "Funk #49," if for no other reason, RIDES AGAIN, the second album from Cleveland rockers the James Gang, was one of the templates for '70s American blues/boogie rock. While there's no denying that cuts like the aforementioned iconic riff monster and the driving "Woman" are full of long-haired, shirtless, amps-on-11 abandon, there are a number of acoustic-based moments on the album as well, making it plain that neither singer/guitarist Joe Walsh, nor the rest of the ...

Piano Nights songs
$12.15 April Clay has been leading worship for the last eight years all over Oklahoma, Texas, & Arkansas. She grew up in Durant, Oklahoma and lived most of her life there until relocating to Sulphur, OK in 2004. Due to her parents divorce in 1985, she moved in with her grandmother who ended up raising her. Her Grandmother took her to church every time the doors were open. Her grandma’s constant example of the unconditional love of Christ has forever impacted her life. At the age of nine she decided to give her life to following and serving Jesus Christ. It was also about the same time that she sang in church for the very first time and began writing music. When April was seventeen she surrendered her life to serve in full time ministry, not sure of what the future held, but knew she couldn’t see herself doing anything else. In 2002 she graduated college from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Minors in music and psychology. In 2002-2003 she served as an Intern/Associate for the Baptist Collegiate Ministries at Southeastern and part-time college director for Silo Baptist Church. She married Brad Clay in 2003 and joined him in Student ministry at Silo Baptist Church and presently at First Baptist Church of Sulphur. She began working with a girl’s ministry called Individually Designed Ministries in 2004. She is currently the primary worship leader for the ministry and occasionally teaches bible study. April’s heart and passion is student ministry. She believes leading worship is an incredible outlet ...
