| | Magic Mushroom Band Spaced Out CD Magic Mushroom Band Discography of CDs
This 1991 rare release from psychedelic rock group Magic Mushroom Band includes the tracks "Look Into The Future" and "Feel So Fine."
Magic Mushroom bill themselves as a "psychedelic pop band," but don't entertain any visions of SGT. PEPPER-like baroque-pop niceties. Rather, they channel the rough-and-ready space-rock sounds of Hawkwind, with a side order of Gong's spacey psychedelia. Guitars churn and chug in a fuzz-laden frenzy as an undeniably Nik Turner-esque sax squawks along, and vocals tend toward a stoner sound, often with lyrics to match. Anyone who ever got cosmic to the space-rock sounds of the '70s will feel right at home here.
Whilst the Magic Mushroom Band shares members with Astralasia, the Magic Mushroom Band has been a working band for far longer. The band first came together in 1982 when they first began playing their brand of 'Psychedelic Space Pop'. Spaced Out was originally released in 1991 and initial copies of this album are now highly prized collectors items. The music could be fairly described as psychedelic ambient pop or rock and the album featured a special guest in David Jackson who was a former member of Van Der Graaf Generator and subsequently the band repaid the favour by guesting on Davids solo album Tonewall Stands.

| | Queen Greatest Hits, Vol. 3 CD (2000) (Import) Bonus Tracks; Japan
Spaced Out songs
$41.75 Additional personnel includes: George Michael, David Bowie, Montserrat Caballe, Elton John.
Not so much a traditional greatest-hits album in the style of the first two volumes in the series, Queen's GREATEST HITS III is more of a collection of rarities, remixes, and under-appreciated album tracks. There's only one actual chart hit in these 17 cuts, the version of "Somebody To Love" recorded at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert at Wembley Stadium with George Michael on lead vocals. Other songs with guest singers include Elton John's take on "The Show Must Go On" and an interesting remix of "Another One Bites the Dust" with guest raps by Wyclef Jean.
Besides that, there are three solo tracks by Mercury and one by Brian May, plus about a third of the final Queen album, MADE IN HEAVEN. Highlights include the previously rare holiday single "Thank God It's Christmas" and Queen's final recording, the tributary "No One But You (Only the Good Die Young)," recorded by the three remaining members of Queen for a charity single in the wake of Princess Diana's death. This disc was later included in its entirety as part of the three-disc box set THE PLATINUM COLLECTION: GREATEST HITS I, II, and III.
Not to be confused with 1981's GREATEST HITS, 1992's CLASSIC QUEEN, or '92's reissue of '81's GREATEST HITS, 2004's GREATEST HITS is a superb 20-track sampler of Queen's best, eclipsing the all of the aforementioned packages. Excepting their late-career singles, this set spans the British group's tenure from '74's "Seven Seas of Rhye" to a '84 live performance of "Under Pressure." In between are a host of the ambitious, distinctive, and often brilliant songs on which Queen built ...

Spaced Out CD music
$13.39 The group BeBop Bahama is making a big impact on Jazz aficionados and Caribbean fans everywhere. The group's new self-titled CD release is comprised of classic jazz standards performed on instruments such as the Steel Drums, Vibes, Guitar, Bass and Drums. The group features Steel Drum recording artist Tom Liston as well as one of LA's most in demand Drummers Chris Wabich(who plays the Drums & Percussion at the same time all live!) Joining Tom & Chris on the CD are some of LA's top notch Jazzmen. On Guitar is arguably LA's best jazz guitarist, Larry Koonse. The Bass chair is split between Dave Stone and Larry Steen, both highly respected studio bassists. Sharing the spotlight on the vibes are the amazingly talented Brian Atkinson & Craig Fundyga.BeBop Bahama has created their own unique spin on jazz. Showcasing the Steel Drums as the lead voice as well as for improvising, they have entered into uncharted territories for this instrument. The group interprets well known jazz melodies in ways that previously have not been attempted. For example, the traditional bebop tunes "Groovin' High" and "Au Privave" are now played in a Calypso/Soca style, while still maintaining an open, jazzy feel throughout. The Calypso rhythm speaks freely while the group gets into bop improvised solos. There are some cookin' straight ahead, swing & bebop tunes thrown into the mix as well. As for new sounds, check out the band's take on ...

| | Cheap Trick Dream Police CD (1979) Bonus Tracks; Remastered
Spaced Out album
$7.59 Although Cheap Trick's fourth studio album, DREAM POLICE, was ready for release at the beginning of 1979, it was delayed for nearly a year due to the surprise success of their hit single "I Want You To Want Me" and album AT BUDOKAN. When it did finally come out in September, it became the band's biggest studio album, peaking at #6 on the charts and going platinum.
There are more than a few Trick classics included on DREAM POLICE. The fiercely rocking title track (one of the band's most renowned compositions), "Way of the World," and two epics--the nearly ten-minute-long "Gonna Raise Hell" and a seven-and-a-half- minute rendition of "Need Your Love" ...
