| Fantastic Nostalgia!
I remember this serial from the school holidays of my childhood, and it is as enjoyable now as it ever was then! An absolute must for all Serial fans, and even those just wanting to look at that something a little bit different. Silly hats, wheelie bin robots, much fighting and wrestling, this one has it all. The only low point being the ever annoying side-kick in the form of a small boy named Billy. 12 chapters of sheer escapism and fun, watch and enjoy!

| Republic serial - Undersea kingdom
Republic's 1936 Sci-Fi serial "Undersea Kingdom", is a good fast paced early cliffhanger. Obviously meant to compete with Universal's "Flash Gordon". The star, Ray "Crash" Corrigan (Crash Vs. Flash) does well as the athletic hero. Serials of this time period are quite crudely produced, but still lot's of fun to watch. Where "Flash" is heavy on plot, this serial leans more toward action, and pretty well done at that. Any serial fan will want this one, and for the average movie fan, it's a good little actioner.
