I don't know who classified these "gems" as classics but they must have been alien themselves.I actually enjoyed the hercules and non-"scifi" flicks better than the "Could you bring my q-card a little closer, I'm not used to this" monster pics.To each his own.

It's so hard to find good sci-fi these days I bought this box set in an act of desperation. I would like to say I made a mistake but I have to admit whenever I need to get some sleep all I have to do is throw one of those babies in the dvd player and I'm nodding within 5 minutes. Works better than sleeping pills and it's all natural!

Really a good deal if you like older sci-fi. Good collection of very good night-time sleepers.

Lot's of old Movies

First off, many of this movies aren't even Science Fiction. Samples are: "Hercules Unchained", "Lost Jungle Assignment", "Queen of the Amazon", and "Colossus and the Amazon Queen". There are no fewer than six Hercules movies, and several African adventures. Of the rest, they can be barely labeled Science Fiction, but just barely.
I have no idea why the modifier "Classics" is a part of the title, for there are no classics in the entire selection. There aren't even any movies that even the most avid SciFI fan would be remotely interested in. None, zero, nada. Whoever picked this selection has
a talent for the dismal.
The only common denominator in the selection is a pervasive poor quality. Watching any of these movies is a painful experience. I recommend watching reruns of daytime TV instead. The purchase was a waste of money.

Robin Williams and writer-director Barry Levinson, who worked together on 1987's GOOD MORNING VIETNAM and 1992's TOYS, reunite for the political thriller/romantic comedy MAN OF THE YEAR.
