Abandoned in a strange city, Theresa Johnson and her seven-year-old daughter Hillary are forced out into the streets. If you have never seen any of Mare Winningham's TV movies you missed some great movies. God Bless the Child is a complelling story of a mother's struggle to take care of her daughter.

I watched this film about 13years ago! I never forgot it, talk about SAD!! I have been looking for it on utube but its not there! I would love to see it again!

watched this film for the first time 2day and i cryed all the way through... it made me realise how good ive got my life wiv my 7 year old daughter, people take things for granted, the ending of the film must of been so hard for her for what she did... if you have not seen this film before then i fully recomend that you do!!
