This album is a collaboration and a side project between Enrique Bunbury, Carlos Ann, Morti (former leader of El Fantástico Hombre Bala and Ex Mundus), and Shuarma (singer of Elefantes). All of them share songwriting credits and singing duties. The idea of this reunion was not to create a band, but just to get together during a two-week period and let the creativity flow. Although the resulting 15 songs are obvious connections with the members' main projects, they don't really sound like any of them. There's a cabaret mood that goes through the album, and "Desmejorado" and "Sex Food" in particular are interesting songs. ~ Iván Adaime

There's a cabaret mood that goes through the album and a couple of interesting songs like "Desmejorado" and "Sex Food." But the result is somehow disappointing and pointless. It sounds like a failed experiment. There's nothing here to establish Bushido as a solid group in its own right. ~ Iván Adaime

The work is set to the chronological journey that Homer penned of Odysseus' return from Troy to Ithaca, Greece. The location of St. Paul's Chapel, part of Columbia University, was chosen as the ideal terrain for our exhausted troupe of Achaean Greek soldiers for their encounters with islands of startlingly new instrumental combinations. Each instrument corresponds to a character in the epic, each with unique tunings, indicative of unique personalities. All musicians are improvising throughout. As Athena called the protagonist ...
