The first official visual release from WEEN has finally arrived! Filmed over two nights at The Vic Theater in Chicago in November 2003, this is what Ween fans have been waiting for - 2 hours of all their favorite Ween classics and a killer cover of "All Of My Love". 2003 was a great year for the band as they toured the US and Europe, had a #1 CMJ record for the month of September with QUEBEC and was loved all over the press from Rolling Stone to The Onion. Seemingly able to turn their hand to any genre that takes their interest, Ween excel as arch pranksters who love nothing more than penning witty songs about a variety of bizarre subjects. Their fans are a devoted legion who hang on every word and note the band produces, and their concerts frequently develop into a weird and wonderful mutual appreciation society between the esoteric rockers and their audience. This show from Chicago's Vic Theater in November 2003 illustrates this fact, with the band performing an eclectic selection of material from their back catalogue. Tracks include "Voodoo Lady," "Roses Are Free," "Doctor Rock," and many others. Ween - Live In Chicago Reviews: "Ween's epic three-hour gigs need to be seen....With no frills, Ween blast expertly through rockers..."

Ween - Live In Chicago Movie Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) best live show Ween have one of the best live shows I have ever seen. This DVD really shows the awesome power of the boognish. Dean Ween is the most underrated guitarist in the world. How he comes up with some of his solos and then the transitions into the bridge are simply amazing! DIGITAL LIVE WEEN!!! This set is absolutely perfect my only complaint is the length, these guys are legendary for epic shows it seems a little short, but quality before quantity and this set is a beauty.
Strap on that Jammy pack for a 2 night engagement with GENE, DEAN, CLAUDE, DAVE, and GLENN.
Recorded during last years QUEBEC tour this is a must own for fans of diverse live music. Incredible versions of ZOLOFT, VOODOO LADY, ROSES, etc.. and a searing version of Zep's ALL OF MY LOVE.
Crank up your home theaterfor the 2.0 or Dolby 5.1 mix - 3 tunes have alternate takes and there is a groovin video for TRANSDERMAL CELEBRATION

A brilliant fusion of pop and gonzo humor, 1994's Chocolate and Cheese is arguably Ween's finest moment. Building on Pure Guava's more focused approach, the album proved for once and all that along with their twisted sense of humor and wide musical vocabulary, Dean and Gene are also impressive songwriters. Over the course of Chocolate and Cheese, Ween explore virtually every permutation of pop, rock, soul, and funk, from the opening song "Take Me Away"'s rootsy rock to "Roses Are Free"'s homage to Prince's shiny Paisley ...
