| What's Wrong With Bill? Music Review Average Rating: (4.5 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews They call him Ill cuz he's sicker than the germs in AIDS. Ill Bill's first solo album is undoubtedly one of my top 5 favourite albums of all time. If I could give it a 10 or higher on this rating system, I wouldn't hesitate. Grimey, NYC no-holds-bars street sh**, but also he can drop knowledge and funky flows too. Necro's production is his best so far (he made the beats for the entire album!!). Both brothers put in a lot of hours on "what's wrong" and it shows. Definetly buy this or at least give it a listen, as well as all other Non-Phixion material, especially "The Future is Now" - arguably one of the greatest underground rap releases ever. nice, not great...
Everything I listen to out of Ill Bill and Necro sounds exatly the same. The beats, the rhymes, subject matter. 'What's Wrong With Bill' is defintely more diverse but it's not classic material. The reason being, the sound is the 'same' like his other releases, whether it's his work with Non Phixion, or Ill Bill is the Future. I was hoping too see Ill Bill elevate his game instead he stayed about the same. Here was his chance to standout from Necro and Non Phixion and he didn't seize the moment. Ill Bill is a nice emcee, I can't front, but was hoping for something different(production wise and lyrically). Submitted by Culture (Queens, NY) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

What's Wrong With Bill? album
$11.18 Last time around, Shakira touched upon so many styles she couldn't be contained on one album, splitting Oral Fixation in two. This time, she focuses on one sound only: a pulsating electro-disco that crosses all boundaries and welcomes all nationalities. Such concentration behooves Shakira, freeing her to release her inner She Wolf, a wild wacko who's as coo coo as she is carnal. And for as sexy as Shakira is -- crucially, her music is sexy too -- what really gives She Wolf its bite is her inspired nuttiness, how she laments that Matt Damon's not meant for her, and wishes her ex-lover and his new girl a horrible vacation where the room smells and the toilet doesn't flush. "Darling, it is no joke, this is lycanthropy," she sings on the title track with no small trace of humor, and this blend of cheerful weirdness and sick beats -- often supplied by the Neptunes, delivering tough, sensual rhythms in a way they haven't in a long time, but also John Hill and Wyclef Jean -- is giddily addicting, a celebration of all the strange sensuality that comes out at night.

| | Z-Ro Cocaine CD (2009)
What's Wrong With Bill? CD music
$15.05 Despite his status as one of hip-hop's most prolific artists, Z-Ro never quite spreads himself too thin. The provocatively titled COCAINE is his second release from 2009, and features his trademark self-aware, yet rapier-sharp lyrics over some of the hotter beats out of the fertile Houston scene. ...

| | 25 All-Time Doo Wop Hits CD (2002)
What's Wrong With Bill? music CDs
$14.59 These are not the best 25 all-time doo wop hits -- whether because of licensing restrictions or not, there's no "The Great Pretender," "Tears on My Pillow," "Maybe," "Searchin'," "Gee," "Stay," "A Teenager in Love," "I Only Have Eyes for You," "Why Do Fools Fall in Love," "Book of Love," "Silhouettes," or numerous other smashes that might be reasonably championed as among the cream of the cream. As doo wop comps go, though, it's pretty good, and a good disc if you want a few anthologies in the genre without fussily building a systematic collection. To start with, it does have several core doo wop classics: the Silhouettes' "Get a Job," the Five Satins' "(I'll Remember) In the Still of the Nite," the Penguins' "Earth Angel," the Capris' "There's a Moon out Tonight," Don & Juan's "What's Your Name," the Crests' "16 Candles," the Earls' "Remember Then," Johnnie & Joe's "Over the Mountain; Across the Sea," and the Skyliners' "Since I Don't Have You." There are also a number of low-charting singles that nonetheless got a lot of regional airplay and may be well-remembered even by non-doo wop specialists, like the Willows' "Church Bells May ...
| | Diplomats Greatest Recordings CD (2004) (Import) United Kingdom
What's Wrong With Bill? songs
$16.99 The Diplomats were good singers and harmonizers, but like so many journeyman soul groups of their time, they never got hold of material that demanded to be a hit, or developed a personality on record that was impossible to ignore. They did make a good number of singles for various labels, however, and this typically well-packaged Ace/Kent compilation brings together 25 tracks they did between 1963 and 1970, a half-dozen of which were previously unreleased. It's something like a skip through the uptown soul styles of the '60s, with some of the earliest cuts still dragging one foot out of the doo wop era, and later ones boasting more polished East Coast soul production on both danceable midtempo numbers and proto-sweet soul ballads. ...
