Guided, perhaps, by musical snobbery or roots-rock phobia, some people inexplicably don't like Creedence Clearwater Revival. As the kings of earnest country-inflected rock in an age when radical stances were de rigueur, CCR sported straight-ahead tunes, and may have seemed a bit unhip. Nervewreck is what happens when all the problems, all the questions, about our human relationships, that constantly plague our minds, are expressed in the form of music.Punk-ish...but not punk. Hip, new, indie-rock band, Nervewreck, was formed in Houston in 2004 by a group of seasoned young musicians who, first, fine-tuned their craft as members of a variety of other "space city" rock bands,such as December's Child, Seres Occultus, Chlorine, Lovestar and Cure tribute band "The Cured".
