3 stars catchy tunes, witty lyrics, monotonous music
This is the first magnetic fields or stephin meritt recording I have listened to. The songs and Meritt's voice are pleasant. Many of the tunes are catchy and a good deal of the lyrics are witty. But the music is a bit monotonous even though meritt is using all acoustic instruments rather than the synthesizers he usually uses in his productions. I doubt I would buy another magentic fields cd but I not disappointed that I have at least one magentic fields or stephin meritt recording.
