Elton John's "Goddbye, Yellow Brick Road" "Goddbye, Yellow Brick Road" is Elton John's best Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road movie. If you are an Elton John Fan and have the CD of this one and you have a DVD player with Surround Sound, this is a must. Accompanied with a second disc that is very interesting, made at the time when Elton and Bernie were at their best, Words & Music. By mike.decontreras (Anaheim, CA, USA)
Elton rules ! Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road video Have several copies of this, MFSL gold CD,CD,SACD LP etc, and prefer the DVDA as it has more bass and a better soundfield. By Bruce M. (Adelaide Australia.)
An Album Glittering With Gold! Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road film Elton's benchmark and breakthrough album couldn't sound better in ARSS. Greg Penny not only mixed and mastered the Brick album with expertise in this high resolution format, but, additional albums using DSD technology. The surround sound format is exceptional; the sound field has depth and balance. The unassuming track like "Dirty Little Girl" has never sounded better. Elton's remastered albums in high resolution are second to none! Looking forward to further work by Greg Penny in the future! By Darb Snibor (Fort Langley)
Great Music & Sound Quality Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road review I had only had heard the hits from this DVD-A before I purchased it. But I'd say, I don't think there is a bad song in the bunch. The sound quality is clear, crisp and very detailed. The DVD-A format is not as easy to adjust from regular stereo playback vs. surround sound playback. I like the SACD format better in this regard. I believe this recording is also available in that format. From what I've read, the DVD-A format is better of the two on this recording. By Matthew (Andover, MN, United States)
Top Notch Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road DVD Just got this CD about a week ago and can't stop playing it. Having been a recording engineer during the time this album was made, we tried to copy certain sounds from this album. Now that it has been remastered and remixed, there are sounds in the instruments you haven't heard before that makes listening to this album more enjoyable. I have many DVD-A discs and this is by far the best sounding in 5.1. . By Lenny (Scottsdale, Arizona)
