Guce and Tay at it again Glad to see the Bullys return with another album. Like on their first album "Westside Stories", these guys spit a ton. This one is laced with wicked production from the likes of DJ Darryl, One Drop Scott and Sean T. Basically, these tracks knock especially "Thug Life" and "Please Believe It". killa tay is cold Killa Tay be spittin on bullys wit fullys. cold beats and lyrics. COLDEST SONGS ON BULLYS WIT FULLYS IS THUG LIFE, PLEASE BELIEVE IT, KING OF GANGSTA, THUG WORLD REMIX, AND WE BANG. Submitted by Chamilitary16 (Kansas City) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
WHAT IT DO!! This album is knock. It's good to hear Killa Tay back to his old self after the little hiatus after Thug Religion. Killa Tay carries the album, b/c Guce needs to quit rappin. Tracks that slap the hardest are "About Me", "Fia Water 2", and "What It Do". I can't wait til Killa Tay's new solo album Hardball drops. Gangsta Without The Rap
$13.15 Enter the Jacka. The death of 2Pac in the mid 90's ripped the heart out of West Coast Hip Hop. At the same time a young street poet named the Jacka was honing his skills in the Bay Area Rap game. Always open minded, he was influenced by b-boys and thugs, pimps and Imams. The Jacka has since developed into an established, well-rounded, well-versed emcee ...

Gangsta Without The Rap
$8.39 This is a continuous in-the-mix CD compiled and mixed by DJ Tony Joseph. Compilation producers: Tony Joseph, Darryl Ross. Includes liner notes by Scott McKeever. Personnel: Darryl Ross (vocals, keyboards, programming); Richard G. Johnson, Julian Dixon, Tony Joseph (vocals); Kathleen Dyson, Paul Jackson, Jr. (guitar); Karen Briggs , Mark Cargill (violin); Mike Phillips (saxophone, vocoder); Everette Harp, Gerald Spikes (saxophone); Johnny Britt (trumpet, horns); Steve Baxter (horns); Patrice Rushen (piano, Fender Rhodes piano, vibraphone); Richard Turner, Jr. (piano). Audio Mixer: Tony Joseph. Recording information: The Green Room, Los Angeles, CA. Arranger: Richard Turner, Jr. Unlike conventional various-artists albums, Hidden Beach Recordings Presents: Unwrapped, Vol. 1 does not feature tracks by a series of recognized performers. Rather, each track is performed by a group of musicians assembled for the purpose by the producers, who are the auteurs here. They are Tony Joseph and Darryl Ross. Joseph gets credit for the album's concept, which is to take rap songs and play them in a smooth jazz style. In such a context, Lil' Kim's "Crush on You" sounds a lot more like smooth jazzman Jeff Lorber's "Rain Dance," which was sampled in it, while Eminem's "Stan," minus Eminem himself, reverts to being Dido's "Thank You." ~ William Ruhlmann Unlike conventional various-artists albums, Hidden Beach Recordings Presents: Unwrapped, Vol. 1 does not feature tracks by a series of recognized performers.
