 Dionne A True Diva
Dionne is truly a Diva and then some. She knows her music and how to present it and make you feel enchanted with every song. There are only a few ladies one can count on one hand who can give the magic to music the same way Dionne can. This dvd is a must have for anyone who loved the romantic captivating pop that Bachrach and David wrote so much of for her. This Dvd is a true delight.

 Dionne's DVD's Delicious
This lady just never ceases to amaze me. Just when you think her "chops" have had it, she goes and knocks your socks off. And the sound is great-I don't have great sound system, but the full rich mix still came through. Go out and get one! You won't regret it.

 Pleasantly Surprised
I passed on this DVD many times for fear that I'd be disappointed. How would today's Dionne compare with yesterday's Dionne? Well, my worries were wasted. Like Tony Bennett, you can certainly hear the wear and tear of decades of nonstop touring. But somehow the magic is still there. Dionne's patented gentle vocal delivery dominates, but she's still got some fireworks up her sleeve. Her son is featured and he is blessed with a strong presence and a soulful grainy tenor. Dionne's band and arrangements are simply awesome. The DVD comes with some cool extras that will no doubt delight fans. Also, the performance is very well recorded and mastered. This outdoor concert was recorded at the Syracuse Jazz Festival on a cold and very rainy night. Unbelievably, Dionne, her crew, her band, her son, and her audience were completely engaged in spite of the inclimate weather. In fact, the rain added something to the evening and the DVD producers successfully integrate the weather into the product (a lesson on turning lemons into lemonade). I recommend this DVD for fans and the curious alike. Rediscover this very special artist.

 DIONNE WARWICK DOES IT AGAIN!
Dionne Warwick who has been an icon in the Pop-Soul music industry for many years retains her style and grace though the voice is worn, it is still warm and velvety as she glides through her Bacharach-David hits of yester-year. This Concert DVD recorded at the Syracuse Jazz Fest in 2003 is a marvelous experience as you spend an evening with the wonderful Ms. Dionne Warwick and her music. She also sings songs that pay special tribute to her love for Brazil and her life there. No one can conquer the difficult arrangements of a Burt Bacharach song like Dionne Warwick and even after all these years she is still able to sing the songs she has made her own for many musical years. You will enjoy this casual night of song as Dionne Warwick invites you in for a magical night of music.
