Ars Nova songs Product Information
Ars Nova album for sale by Ars Nova was released Jun 29, 2004 on the Sundazed label. Ars Nova's first release was intermittently intriguing eclectic psychedelic rock with a slight classical influence, as well as some unusual instrumentation in the bass trombone of lead singer Jon Pierson and the trumpet and string bass of Bill Folwell. ||A dream came true.|
Ars Nova: Ars Nova has been one of my favourite albums since 1968 and I never expected to find a remastered cd-version but I did. I´m very pleased indeed.

this is a really wonderful album despite the fact that it was the only album this n.y.c. group recorded for electra records before disbanding.it still holds up very well & is a classic.my favourite songs on this album are i wrapped her in ribbons & of course the march of the mad duke's circus.i truly recommend this.

These guys invented the "Classical Rock" genre. "The Move" covered them! (Ya know the "The Move" don't ya? They morphed into the "Electric Light Orchestra".) Here's where it starts! I wore out three copies on vinyl before I found this CD!

I waited since cds were invented for them to re-issue this album..And rehearing it again, its as good as it was back when they were Life magazines(remember them?)Poster boys for cclassical meetes rock(whatever) there's no dance music here folks, just jazz/rock/classical/renissiance/all mixed up the way they Adventerous musicians)could do back in the day when people wouldn't flip the dail after 3 1/2 seconds of differant music. Even the lyrical content is decent, and the songs are inventive, the music fresh and Get this Fraking album... Thankyouverymuch............And where is Sunshine and Shadows???(album 2)
