Lone Star/Firing on All Six songs These LPs were originally released on Epic and had been out of print until being reissued in 2003 on the U.K. label The Beat Goes On. The most interesting aspect of this British band was how they managed to sound a great deal like Led Zeppelin! Several of these tunes sound like Zep outtakes, especially "The Ballad of Crafty Jack," which completely apes "Trampled Under Foot." With the exception of an absolutely wretched version of the Beatles "She Said, She Said" these long-lost albums really aren't that bad. Spacey Hard Rock At Its Best!!!
Lone Star/Firing on All Six buy CD music Talk about a short lived, very overlooked group!!! These guys even had to change lead singers over just two albums. But don't let that bother you, these guys are very good hard rockers with a "spacey aire" about them.

Lone Star/Firing on All Six songs Since the mid-70's, this British hard rock band made the charts and a few short years later, said goodbye. With the first two albums now out together on 1 CD, relive the 70's experience.

Why are they better live?
Lone Star/Firing on All Six album for sale I have both of these albums on vinyl, and once I got the CD of their 1977 BBC Radio One Concert, I was blown away over how much their live performances triumph over the studio ones! These two albums on one CD are a good deal and are vintage recordings, but to catch this band at their prime, get your hands on the BBC Live CD (if you can).
