Palais album for sale by Figgs was released May 18, 2004 on the Sodapop label. The double-disc Palais might seem a bit sprawling at first, but rather like Nellie McKay's Get Away from Me or Wilco's Being There, these two discs actually clock in under 80 minutes; they could have gone on a single CD, but by being split over two roughly 35-minute discs, they actually come off a lot better. Best record this band has ever made. Buy It Now! Don't listen to the fool who says it's disapointing. Has he ever written one good song? No.

Disappointing for a Figgs Double Album
I would take this album and condense it into one. Only then would this be a very good Figgs cd. Lots of filler, but some good songs too.
