A great spooky and downright chilling film. Granted, the interior of the Funhouse is WAY larger than the exterior, but hey! Have you before or since seen a movie monster better than what was presented here? I had the pleasure of being an extra and doing minor work with Craig and his crew. And the acting side, Liz, Cooper, Miles, and Largo were the nicest people, Kevin Conway and Wayne Doba were incredibly accessible. And Sylvia Miles was a sweetheart (at least to me and my daughter). Then there's Toby Hooper. A fine texas gentleman. All in all a great experience and movie.

"The Funhouse" is an early 80's slasher flick directed by Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre & Poltergeist). It follows four teenagers who go to a carnival and decide to spend the night in the spooky funhouse. Needless to say things don't go as planned and we are in for a nice thrill ride, literally. The creepy music fits along nicely with what's happening and there's some really weird characters as well that make it all the more twisted! My only complaints are the monster shoulda had better make up effects to make it more realistic and some of the killings could have been better. All in all great, original entertaining 80's slasher. Not many people know about this film but every horror fan should definitely check this out!

||good use of photography|
not as good as some other slasher films but i must admit that i am satisfied with this film, it is a little gem in it's own right. The picture quality was good and some of the scenes were creepy.

||This flick brought back memories...|
It's an interesting film. Maybe it doesn't really deserve 4 stars but there's something I like about it. When I was a kid, those spooky funhouse robots during the credits used to freak me out... I remember rewinding that section over and over. Anyway, you can't beat the price...
