The debut EP from Viza-Noir finds the Chicago trio practicing everything they learned from the glory days of post-punk. Gang of Four, Wire, and Sonic Youth are some of the key reference points on this 2001 release, but instead of mechanically revisiting that familiar territory, Viza-Noir give it a furious shot in the arm.
