Saga - All Areas: Live in Bonn 2002 Movie Review Average Rating: (4.1 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews Fabulous.... This is a great DVD. Have been looking for Saga for a while now but is Canada, their home nation, it seems difficult to find them. The only thing I dislike is the fading out between songs, its annoying. They seemed to have patched different tunes at different times during a show. Weird. Sound is very good though and the show in general is great. Highly recommend this DVD.
I have on Beta tape a live performance recorded quite a while ago and was looking for the same version on DVD. Don't know if it exists.
4.5 stars!!!!!! on this one.

Absolutely Awesome DVD! This DVD really exemplifies how terrific Saga is in concert, which is something very few people from the States have ever had the opportunity to see. I immediately fell in love with this DVD and am so happy I purchased it! Submitted by wilmafrijole (Mobile, AL) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
SAGAS TALENT SHOWS IN "ALL AREAS" Saga shows off their talents & versatility in "ALL AREAS" with great live concert performances of super-new songs as well as the old loved tunes. They even have some surprises like some acoustic guitar, clarinet instrumentation and giving a real old German flare to one of the older tunes incorporating an accordian! -Real cool! Love the dvd. good concert, short on extras I love saga and was really looking forward to this dvd. The performances are great but I question the editing. Why fade to black between every song? It ruins the live feel of the concert. The "extras" consist of a voice over description of the problems encountered in putting on the concert; interesting but some interviews would be better. Saga - All Areas: Live in Bonn 2002 review
$15.35 The Chapters Live was 28 years in the making. Flash back to 1978: a young Canadian band releases its debut LP, an attempt at bridging the gap between progressive rock and FM radio. Two tracks, "Will It Be You?" and "Tired World," are subtitled Chapters 4 and 6 for no apparent reason. Over the next three LPs, Saga will release ...

Saga - All Areas: Live in Bonn 2002 film
$9.79 True hardcore fans may balk at the fact that this vibrant document of a scene that prided itself on some staunchly anti-corporate ethics is being distributed by business behemoth Sony, but they needn't worry--AMERICAN HARDCORE was in the can long before the men in suits picked it up for distribution. Paul Rachman's film is bookended by two clips of Ronald Reagan being sworn in for each of his tenures as president, and the director is quick to draw parallels between Reagan's leadership and the explosion of angry young men who picked up guitars, drums, and microphones and exploded onto an unsuspecting ‘80s music scene. Rachman draws on amazing footage of scene leaders such as Bad Brains, Minor Threat, and Black Flag to tell the story, and splices them with ...

Saga - All Areas: Live in Bonn 2002 DVD
$15.45 Just as LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE did in 2006, DAN IN REAL LIFE reveals that Steve Carell is an actor who can do more than just comedy. He's won both accolades and awards as bumbling boss Michael Scott on THE OFFICE, but there's a greater depth to this performance as a single father and man in love. Advice columnist Dan Burns (Carell) has his hands full with three daughters that he's not willing to let grow up. The girls still grieve for their mother who died four years ago, and Dan hasn't made any attempts to date. So he's pleasantly surprised when he meets Marie (Juliette Binoche) at a bookstore when he goes to his parents' Rhode Island home for the annual family ...
