| | Joe Nichols Revelation CD Joe Nichols Discography of CDs
(1 Customer Review)
One of the most traditional-sounding of the Nashville "new traditionalists," Joe Nichols is possessed of a rich, warm baritone that recalls the gritty golden pipes of legends George Jones, Conway Twitty, and, in particular, Merle Haggard. The Arkansas native also adopts the serious tone of his heroes, eschewing Music Row boot-scooting tunes in favor of songs full of heartbreak and soul-searching. The production on REVELATION reinforces the material's substantiality, focusing on uncluttered arrangements that allow the fine playing of Music City's finest (David Hungate, Bryan Sutton, Stuart Duncan, Brett Rowan) to shine through. Highlights include the life-affirming ballad "I Wish That Wasn't All," and the title track, a cover of Waylon Jennings's apocalyptic 1972 classic.

Revelation album
$6.69 If you think that photogenic young country singer Joe Nichols looks more like a Calvin Klein model than a honky-tonk warrior, just count your blessings that he doesn't feel bound to don an ill-fitting cowboy hat in the vain quest for the kind of phony image purveyed by far too many of his peers. Similarly, MAN WITH A MEMORY finds Nichols unafraid of sounding contemporary without completely abandoning his country roots. There's no hokey, half-assed western swing number tossed in here for "authenticity;" instead, the songs ...

"Spaghetti Western Swing" was nominated for the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Country Instrumental Performance. "Celebrity" was nominated for Best Country Song.
If Brad Paisley did not exist it would be necessary to invent him. He stands at the crossroads between the hipster realms of alt-country and the proletarian climes of mainstream Nashville. He's too close to the middle of the road to ever be drawn ...

$7.89 Contrary to popular belief, the Osmonds were actually a darn good band, able to tackle bubblegum, pop-soul, hard rock, and pop with equal aplomb. At their best in the late '60s and early '70s, the brothers made some amazingly good records, like "One Bad Apple (Don't ...

| | Eric Dodge Since I Let You Go CD (2005)
Revelation music CDs
$11.09 First let me start off by saying that this album is really top notch. We spared no expense when we did this album. There are awesome hit song writers and one of Nashvilles finest studios. There are also several of Nashvilles best studio musicians on this CD. Make sure you grab a copy and let me know what you think.BIO Eric Dodge discovered his passion for singing in the most heartfelt of ways. While always having a strong love for music, his greatest fear was to share that passion publicly. On September 11th, 2001, as our great country suffered a terrorist attack, Eric was on a cruise ship outside of Mexico. That fateful day was when Eric made his decision to no longer be afraid. He stepped up to the microphone aboard the ship to share his voice and love of music. He was no longer willing to let his fear keep him from what was truly his gift to the world. He opened up his heart and sang Garth Brooks\' song \"The Dance\". After his moving performance, a passenger approached him to let him know how much she had loved the song. She encouraged him to pursue a singing career. Just as many others were changed by the events of 9/11, Eric took her words to heart and decided to follow his heart into the world of country music.Eric has worked with Seth Riggs, vocal coach to the Stars in Hollywood and from there was sent to train with Jeffrey Skouson in Las Vegas. Thanks to these great coaches, Eric began sharing his talents professionally in 2003 and hasn\'t stopped. He\'s performed hundreds of shows all over the United States and Canada. He\'s shared the stage with many of Nashville\'s finest country music stars including: the late Chris Ledoux, Diamond Rio, Little Texas,Collin Raye, Shedaisy, and many other talented ...
