Comme Elle Vient album
$8.99 The finest example of perfect disco pop, and a record that should be prescribed to musical snobs and manic depressives. The album is a true ambassador of what pop music can be. Jackson whoops and dances through a suite of unforgettable melodies that should be danced to ...
| | Slayer World Painted Blood CD (2009)
Comme Elle Vient CD music
$10.39 Of the "big four" original thrash bands (the other three being Metallica, Anthrax, and Megadeth), Slayer was the least compromising and most consistent. As such, 2009's WORLD PAINTED BLOOD recalled more than the ...
| | Katatonia Night Is The New Day CD (2009)
Comme Elle Vient music CDs
$14.04 The latest album from Swedish doom rockers Katatonia, their first studio effort since 2006, is as moody and beautiful as their other latter-day work. The group's career can be marked in two stages based on the condition of singer Jonas Renske's vocal cords -- basically, after the band's first two albums, he developed health problems that prevented him from performing harsh death growls, and ever since the band has moved in an increasingly melodic direction, even covering songs by Will Oldham and Jeff ...

| | Queen Greatest Hits I, II & III: The Platinum Collection CDs (2001) Box Set
Comme Elle Vient album
$15.39 Recorded between 1974 & 1997. Includes liner notes by Jim Jenkins, Jacky Smith, Andy Davis, Phil Symes.
With Queen officially enshrined in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, Hollywood Records reintroduces the band yet again with the release of GREATEST HITS I, II & III. While Volumes I and II are full of Queen classics you already know by heart, the third cobbles together odds and sods from the far corners of Queen's canon along with solo cuts from Freddie Mercury and Brian May.
Opening with the operatic rock classic "Bohemian Rhapsody," it's easy to hear not only how this British quartet achieved the kind of global acclaim that ensured they'd be enshrined alongside the likes of the Beatles ...

| | Billy Joel Glass Houses CD (1980) Remastered; Enhanced CD
Comme Elle Vient music CDs
$7.59 This edition of GLASS HOUSES is an Enhanced CD containing both a full audio program as well as video clips for the songs "Sometimes A Fantasy," "It's Still Rock And Roll To Me" and "All For Leyna."
All tracks have been digitally remastered using 24-bit technology.
As one can tell from the cover photo of a blue-jeaned, leather-jacketed Joel getting ready to throw a rock (a pun on the album title), GLASS HOUSES is the album where he attempts to lay waste his reputation as MOR balladeer. He accomplishes this feat by forging a harder, more rocking sound, with the help of guitarists Russell Javors and David Brown. Though such cuts as "You May Be Right" and "All For Leyna" are far ...

| | Circus Maximus Isolate CD (2007)
Comme Elle Vient album
$14.29 There are quite a few "love it or hate it" genres within the realm of hard rock and heavy metal, but undoubtedly toward the top on the list is prog metal. Depending on your musical preference, the style is either a pretentious bloated dinosaur or a platform to showcase exceptional instrumental chops and difficult song structures. Norway's Circus Maximus certainly believe in the latter description, as evidenced by their 2007 sophomore full-length, Isolate. Sounding very much like Dream Theater -- especially singer Michael Eriksen, whose vocals contain more than a passing resemblance to James LaBrie -- Circus Maximus are a group of gentlemen who can undoubtedly play Keeper of the Seven Keys, Pt. 1 backward and forward (heck, one-time Helloween producer Tommy Hansen even produced Isolate). Songs such as the album-opening "A Darkened Mind," "Wither," and "From Childhood's Hour..." show that Circus Maximus fit comfortably between the likes of Iced Earth and Symphony X. ~ Greg Prato
Wow, what an impressive debut from these Norwegian progsters! I feel the same way about prog metal as I do about power metal: some of it I like a great deal and some of it does absolutely nothing for me. CIRCUS MAXIMUS' 'The 1st Chapter' does damn near everything ...
