$9.69 Live Recording
Personnel includes: Sonny Stitt (saxophone); Don Patterson (organ); Grant Green (guitar); Billy James (drums). Recorded on September 15, 1969. Personnel: Don Patterson (organ); Grant Green (guitar); Sonny Sitt (alto saxophone, tenor saxophone); Sonny Stitt (tenor saxophone); Billy James (drums). Audio Remasterer: Joe Tarantino. Liner Note Authors: Natasha White; Eddy Love. Recording information: Van Gelder's Studio, Englewood Cliffs, NJ (09/15/1969). Photographer: Al Johnson . Unknown Contributor Role: Sonny Sitt. In September 1969, regular collaborators saxophonist Sonny Stitt and organist Don Patterson recorded together for the last time. For the occasion, they were joined by guitarist Grant Green, forming something of an organ combo supergroup. Patterson's excellent regular drummer Billy James rounded out the quartet. The ten tracks they made together -- four of them found on this LP -- were not the crowning achievement for any of the principals, but they still stand in the front ranks of organ jazz. Three of the LP's tracks clock in at over eight minutes, providing lots of room for stretching out. Patterson's title track -- a classic, driving soul-jazz theme -- is the highlight. James' "Creepin' Home" moves along at a slacker, shuffling pace. Irving Berlin's "Alexander's Ragtime Band" surprisingly becomes a vehicle for impressive solos from the three lead players, once they get through stating the corny melody. The Burt Bacharach/Hal David ...

$18.99 Well this is a good time to introduce myself! My full name is Richard Edward Cameron and I was born and raised in Toronto, Ont. Canada. I met a wonderful woman by the name of, Anja, who was born in Holland. She is a wonderful Christian lady and she led me to the Lord. I am truly grateful for all the help and support she has given to me over the years. Since meeting her, we moved to a small town in Ontario called, Northbrook. It was just before we moved there that I gave my heart to the Lord. I started going to church with her and one Sunday while everyone was singing beautiful worship songs, my arms went up and tears streamed down my face. I knew then and there that my heart belonged to God. Shortly after moving to Northbrook, God, started giving me songs. Now trust me, I can't write songs no matter how hard I try! I would never consider myself a songwriter but with the guidance and inspiration of the Lord, anything is possible. The first song I wrote was, 'If Jesus Came to Your House'. The words and music came just like that. It was amazing! I would have to write it down and chord it as soon as I could or it would be gone. One of the songs on my CD was written while sitting in church. The pastor noticed I was writing and just as he was wrapping up his sermon... I was able to close the service with that very song! And so it goes... Jesus loves me. I faced some difficult times over the last few years. The good Lord helped me through a heart attack and some very major surgery. It was a miracle. I couldn't walk but just before I went into the hospital, the good Lord let me know that everything would be okay. No...he didn't talk to me as some people say, he just let me know that everything would be fine and exactly what would take place. The doctor said that my back was full of arthritis and he was going to operate in hopes of keeping me out of a wheel chair. That was the best he could promise. I said to him that the good Lord let me know this. "Doctor, you operate Friday, I walk Saturday and I'm golfing in April"...that's exactly what happened. If you wish to know more please feel free to e-mail me. I have many more miracles that the good Lord has blessed me with. On my CD, every song is original...written by God. My very dear friend, ...
