In 2002, actor/comedian/icon-of-silliness Adam Sandler pulled off a remarkable feat, surprising the world with an astounding dramatic role in the quirky film PUNCH-DRUNK LOVE. With just one performance, the talented superstar found himself among a select group of top-level comic actors capable of serious drama. Does the addition of gravity to his screen career reflect on his fifth album, SHHH?DON'T TELL, his first in five years? Not a chance.
As with most of Sandler's records, SHHH?DON'T TELL contains a wicked mix of lewd sketches and ludicrous songs. Like Eddie Murphy, Sandler's recordings have always been much rawer than anything he could get away with in his SNL days, and SHHH?DON'T TELL may be his rawest--and funniest--to date. Sandler brings a host of new characters to life, from extreme-sports septuagenarian Mr. Pibb to the self-explanatory "Gay Robot," to the most absurd of dysfunctional families on "Calling Home." As usual, the most delectable part of the record is his set of songs, parodying everything from glam rock to gangsta rap to Springsteen with expert precision. SHHH?DON'T TELL continues Sandler's legacy of deliciously funny records.

Shh don't tell my review I am not trying to offend anyone but I am not crazy about this music. I know it took work and effort but in the end it didn't turn out that good. Adam Sandler should stick to acting and other things that have to do with movies. Submitted by January (Seatle, WA, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Shhh...Don't Tell
$11.35 Comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham hits the stage with hilarious new pals Achmed the Dead Terrorist and Melvin the Super hero, as well as old favorites Peanut, Walter, and Jose Jalapeno, in this sidesplitting performance at Washington D.C.'s Warner Theater.
More than just a stand-up comic, Jeff Dunham is a one-man comedy troupe--a ring-leader in a circus of snark. The veteran ventriloquist may be the only one with vocal chords, but he’s often the least vocal, playing straight man to a steam trunk of personalities: ...

Shhh...Don't Tell
$9.99 LIVE FROM HELL won the 1995 Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album.m
Outrageous rock & roll comedian Sam Kinison's Live From Hell was released in 1993, one year after he was killed by a drunk driver in a car crash. Recorded in Houston, TX, Live From Hell tackles a variety of topics including television, politics, and music, but Kinison still manages to insert plenty of comments about sex and relationships. Kinison talks about his semi-infamous showbiz gaffe on "I Missed the Joan Rivers Show," but he rightfully argues that his irresponsibility pales in comparison to Rick James' disturbing cocaine, sex, and kidnapping case; Billy Preston's sex scandal; and W. Axl Rose's riot-causing concert behavior. The title of ...
