| | Now That's What I Call Music! 16 CD (3 Customer Reviews)
Taking its cue from similarly styled European compilations of the early 1990s, UMG Recordings introduced the NOW series, each volume of which collects a multi-label cross-section of the period's biggest radio hits. NOW 16 showcases a particularly wide variety of sounds, from the neo-classic-rock guitar heroics of Lenny Kravitz's "Where Are We Runnin'?" and Los Lonely Boys' "Heaven" to the hip-hop/R&B fusion experiments of Black Eyed Peas ("Hey Mama") and the hard-core country sass of Gretchen Wilson's "Redneck Woman." In addition, there are chart-toppers from the worlds of teen-pop, emo, reggae, and neo-grunge, making number 16 one of the most diverse and engaging entries in the uniformly excellent NOW series.
Personnel: Christopher Rojas (guitar, programming).
Arranger: Christopher Rojas.

| Now That's What I Call Music! 16 Music Review Average Rating: (4.3 out of 5 stars) Just as good as all the previous NOW series cds. All the hits on one cd like all the previous NOW series cds. Great for parents who do not want to spend a lot of money buying all the hits of various artists. Submitted by sizzlingsounds (Livingston NJ) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Now 16 Review Now 16 is pretty awesome. I have a lot of highlights but a few lowlights.
HIGHLIGHTS
- I like how Now put Move Ya Body, Dip It Low, Slow Motion, Leave, and Heaven. Even if they are brand new, Now CDs should be this way.
- The bottom of the CD explains it. These are all chart topping hits. No hits missing.
- I'm glad to see some new people and groups joining Now. I've not seen D12, Outkast, Nina Sky, Juvenile, Yellowcard, Switchfoot, Los Lonely Boys, or Gretchen Wilson on any Now album besides this one. So if you are looking for hot new singers or groups, you will like this CD.
LOWLIGHTS
- Even if they are hot tracks, My Band and Hey Ya are very old. My Band was big in spring and Hey Ya was big way back in 2003.
- Well, Now does this all the time so I won't complain about this too much. A lot of the songs are not hot anymore.

Overall, it's a good CD. I didn't complain too much did I? It's still an awesome CD even if songs are a little old.
