Also available in a 3-pack with DIARY OF A MADMAN and THE ULTIMATE SIN.
The 1982 death of Randy Rhoads was a crushing blow for Ozzy Osbourne--not only did he lose one of the very best rock guitarists of all time, but he lost a dear friend, song collaborator, and a founding member of his solo band. But to Ozzy's credit, he somehow summoned the strength to soldier on. For his first studio album since Randy's death, 1983's BARK AT THE MOON, Osbourne discovered another gifted young player from California, Jake E. Lee. The album was another big hit, and eventually reached platinum certification. The album's accompanying tour, which featured openers Motley Crue, was a success as well.
The album opening title track has become a fan favorite and concert staple over the years, and remains one of Ozzy's most furious rockers. Other highlights include "Rock n' Roll Rebel," as well as the gothic "Centre of Eternity," and a surprisingly gentle, string-laden ballad, "So Tired." And while melody is stressed on such compositions as "You're No Different" and "Waiting for Darkness," other selections like "Now You See It (Now You Don't)" and "Slow Down" have more of a heavy metal sound. Featured as a bonus track on the '95 CD remaster is the rarity "Spiders in the Night."

Bark At The Moon songs
$10.45 Often touted as heirs to the throne vacated by late-1980s/early-'90s metal royalty, Godsmack came up in Salem, Massachusetts with a sound that captured the technical heaviness of Metallica and the moody dynamics of Alice In Chains. GOOD TIMES, BAD TIMES is a fitting retrospective of the band's recorded works, including all of Godsmack's highly successful singles, which propelled the group to the top of the nu-metal heap. | | Def Leppard Pyromania CDs (1983) Bonus CD; Remastered; Deluxe Edition; Digipak
Bark At The Moon CD music
$19.59 Although many music fans were convinced that Def Leppard would become hard rock's next big band, few could have predicted the massive across-the-boards success that its third record, 1983's PYROMANIA, achieved. Many wondered why it was taking the group so long to release a follow-up to 1981's HIGH 'N' DRY, but the finished product was well worth the wait. Not only did it become one of the year's best-selling albums and made the band instant U.S. arena headliners, but it has remained a consistent seller ever since (by 1994, it had reached nine million units in the U.S. alone).
The songwriting and overall sound was more streamlined and succinct this time around--while there are guitar riffs galore, the songs have more of a pop feel. Founding guitarist Pete Willis left during the recording, replaced by Phil Collen, who fit in perfectly with the band. The album features such mega-hits as "Photograph," "Rock of Ages," and "Foolin'," as well as a couple of other tracks that could have easily been singles as well, "Rock Rock (Till You Drop)" and "Too Late for Love." PYROMANIA remains one of the best and most popular hard-rock recordings of the '80s.

Bark At The Moon music CDs
$9.79 Recorded live at the Hollywood Palladium, Hollywood, California in 1992. Includes liner notes by Spike Cassidy.
The majority of longtime hardcore/punk fans will agree: the genre is best experienced live than on record. And one of the top hardcore live performers of the '80s was D.R.I., whose shows were oft-times wild and high-energy affairs. Despite issuing albums on a regular basis from 1983 through 1992, the group never got around to issuing an all-live full length -- until the arrival of 1994's Live. Recorded in November 1992 while on tour in support of their Definition release, the release captures the band during a time when they had transformed into ...

| | Michael Chenoweth Worship CD (2007)
Bark At The Moon music CDs
$8.39 If someone was looking for a Praise and Worship recording to point their personal worship towards Christ, then Michael Chenoweth has provided that media. Chenoweth, a long time music lay leader in some of the largest churches in America, has drawn inspiration from years of musical growth and experience under the leadership of R. Todd Bell from Prestonwood, and Joe and Becky Cruse from Church on the Rock. With his musical roots firmly planted in the early days of Contemporary Christian music, Michael has gathered a collection of songs that capture the essence of âVerticalâ praise. âIf you sing these words along with me, you will undoubtedly be offering your personal worship âtowardsâ a Mighty Godâ, says Chenoweth. âThere was a purposeful attempt to use songs, music, and lyrics, that are honoring to God. I think weâve done that and the spirit of this music ...
