Oxter Falunch CD (2007)
Monty Python & The Holy Grail buy CD music "All fans of muscle-car funk and ridiculously wide collars cried a little on the inside when local instrumental powerhouse Mofofunka called it quits earlier this year.
Fret not, ye fans of the strutting groove:
Some ex Mofos have knitted together a new outfit. Organist Sean Beier, drummer Gregg Scharfstein, and trumpeter/bassist Jake Honoroff are now rocking out as Oxter, which is already rolling out a debut album, FaLunch.
If Mofofunka was the perfect soundtrack for getting ready for a Rudy Ray Moore movie marathon, Oxter is the ideal sound for a late-night Popeye Doyle and Buddy Russo stakeout--and a right solid reminder that it's hard to go wrong with but an organ, bass, and drums."
