underrated Orca: The Killer Whale movie Yes this did come out after Jaws and it may deserve some of its' flak. HOWEVER, it is a very great movie and it is suspenseful. You have to end up rooting for the whale. PLUS, the music is fabulous! The music alone makes this a 4 star movie. Then, the movie itself makes it up to five stars. By mporkandbeans (Phoenix, AZ)
Jaws Knock Off???....Nah! Orca is a very entertaing late 70's flick. The killing scenes were suspenseful and great. Plot kept my attention and goes in a different route than Jaws. The ending was very surprising. Definitly check this out! By tharealest0431 (Greensburg, PA)
Not even close to Jaws! Very entertaing late 70's flick. Killing scenes were suspenseful and great. Plot kept my attention and was in a way different lane than Jaws. Was very surprised at the ending. By Mike (Greensburg, PA)

Great Movie! Besides the main action, The movie has a subplot wherein Annie, a crew member on the boat, falls and breaks her leg. She is then seen with her cast, full length hip to toes recuperating at home. The house is then knocked off its pilings causing Annie to fall through a hole in the floor! She manages to hang on but her cast is dangling through the hole. The orca sees her casted leg and decides to attack. He leaps up from the water below and bites at Annies casted leg! She manages to hold on but her leg is crushed and bitten clean off!! By BlueBerry (hollywood ca)
