West Coast Mafia Gang Gang Affiliated Songs Gang Affiliated Music Review Average Rating: (4.3 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews Good solid album, C-Bo runnin things tighter than Mack One O I had to put down the bloody PORK chop I was eating to not laugh with food in my mouth @ this fool who says the B-Dawgs run thnigs. Sure Mack 10 had the baton but he dropped it. Had a chance to pick it up again but tripped on it.
Forcing his relay potna W.C. to fast pick up the slack and win the Ghetto Olympics. Sure B-Dawgs win a medal every now and then. But the brother below has a good point. It is often with the help of the blue. The Major exception is the O.G. D.J. Quick. Otherwise for each B name you drop either for sales, classic albums dropped, etc, I will name 3-4 Crips who did better. I will give respect where it's due though. B-Dawgs are great at gathering together a set of 50, each learning a verse, and putting out frisbee "album" which really is a compilation and peddling that crap.
I'd rather have a good group like this with a few proven talents, up and coming with a veteran like C-Bo. His bars made him a ghetto star.

$14.35 Minus some high-profile guest spots on other rappers' albums, Yukmouth has made little impression outside of rap's hardcore inner circle since his days with the Luniz. With the guest stars often overtaking the man and an overstuffed track list, United Ghettos of America, Vol. 2 isn't ...

$12.89 This 20 track collection gathers together all of R&B/soul singer Jesse James' best songs from the past two decades, including a remix and also the original of his hit "I Can Do Bad By Myself", as well as original versions of songs "Believe In Me Baby" an
For an obscure American soul singer who can't even be classified as a one-hit wonder, this is a very optimistic import of his most significant recordings. 20th Century released an album by James in 1968, and an import, Looking Back, dropped in 1990. Many of the tracks from those two LPs can be found here. His thin voice makes many of the tracks sound similar; James is easier to take in small doses, a track here, a track there. However, a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes and some of the tracks are brilliant. On "I Never ...
| | Al Green Mr. Lucky CD (2002)
Gang Affiliated songs
$13.29 No, the Al Green who plays on Mister Lucky isn't the famous soul icon turned gospel-singing Protestant minister who gave listeners '70s classics like "Take Me to the River," "Let's Stay Together," "Love and Happiness," and "I'm Still in Love With You." This Al Green isn't from Memphis, and he doesn't sing soul or gospel; he's a Chicago-based drummer who started out playing blues before making instrumental hard bop his main focus. And bop is exactly what he plays on Mister Lucky, a 2002 session that he co-leads with alto saxophonist and fellow Chicago resident Othello Anderson (who has an attractive tone in the Charlie Parker/Jackie McLean/Sonny Stitt/Phil Woods vein). Neither Green nor Anderson are well known, but they've both been around the Windy City jazz scene for decades -- which means that they're exactly the sort of ...
