You guys that bash this album no nothing he's been in the scene for some time starting in Slugfest from the late 80's and Buried Alive in the mid 90's. Scott Vogel is keeping with the tradition of oldschool hardcore and this ablum is great not as good as Lowest of the low but if u been a fan of Vogel since day one then you'll appreciate his talents. This record is more metal core but still remains to the roots..Hardcore will never die! Submitted by Richard (Orlando, FL, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Terrible If you like to cry about how your life sucks and try to take it out by "moshing" (running around at concerts and slapping people, then running away before they can beat you down) then buy this album! But if you're a real man, just buy some pig destroyer, it'll rock you alot harder too, and contains talent. Submitted by Raymond (birkington, MA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Roots Hardcore at it's best. If you caught on to hardcore through bands like Hatebreed or Bleeding Through, this cd gives you a chance to hear the best roots core band around. Similar to the ole days punk hardcore bands like Agnostic Front, Sick of it All, Madball etc, this cd brings you raw emotion, thrashing riffs, and killer breaks. Vocalist Scott Vogel provides a blistering presence on the record and reminds us of what this music is all about. Submitted by reptilian1 (Orlando, FL) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

$13.09 You can't get much more sparse than the self-titled debut full-length by the French/Finnish duo, Mi & l'Au. But there's good reason for the lack of instrumentation. It turns out that Mi (a model, who represents the French equation) and l'Au (a former music-industry ...

$11.89 While many movies use actors to play musicians, the Irish indie film ONCE enlisted singer-songwriters Glen Hansard (of the Frames) and Marketa Irglova to portray two Dubliners on the edge of romance. The couple's real-life chemistry not only translated to a compelling, crowd-pleasing tale, it yielded a subtly beautiful soundtrack, which consists largely of thoughtful chamber-pop tunes by Hansard, some of which previously appeared (in slightly altered form) on the Frames' THE COST and his prior collaboration with Irglova, THE SWELL SEASON. Highlights of the collection include the gentle "Falling Slowly" and the urgent "When Your Mind's Made Up," tracks that elegantly echo the emotional ups and downs of the lauded film.
