Nearly a decade since her last album -- though she remained active and became the first (and most likely the last) artist to record with house veterans Masters at Work, gospel stalwart BeBe Winans, and gruff rap MC DMX -- Stephanie Mills resurfaces on her own independent label with a solid album of contemporary R&B, most of which differs thematically (i.e., heartbreak, devotion, romance) from 1995's gospel-oriented Personal Inspirations. Surrounded by associates of Whitney Houston, Faith Evans, and Will Downing, Mills has made an album of mostly subdued and lightly upbeat material that will please her grown-up fan base. Mills is in such fine, with-the-times form that you could be fooled into thinking that she never went away. ~ Andy Kellman

I love the new cd! It's could to have STEPHANIE MILLS BACK!!! Now that's get our girl to topof the charts!! Baby Love is a tear jerker and it's dedicated to her son and the song is beautiful! Can't Let Him Go and Healing Time are DA BOMB!!! My all time favorite is For U and Free! The cd is worth the money!!

Mills has done it again!!!!!!!
While I did not have the pleasure of being in the studio with Stephanie during this recording I did have my own private listening party. When the cd finished, I was hype, I was in awe. The first thing that came to my mind was the What cha gonna do with my lovin, an entire album full of good music. Now that's wassup. Im sayin big things about to happen.

I love the new cd! Stephanie Mills is definitely BORN FOR THIS!!!! She wrote 3 of the songs(FREE, BABY LOVE and FOR U) and those are my favorite cuts from the cd! She did it again!!! Buy this cd and listen to the music and listen to the words cuz people can relate to the songs!!!

Stephanie Mills has done an excellent job on this CD. Every song is pure excellence. I can't say which song on the CD is my favorite so I won't name one. They ALL are such great songs. Stephanie's voice is superb in every track. Do yourself a favor...purchase this CD.

I was very disapointed with a few of the songs, But over all i felt it could of been better. There were no collaborations, And i didn't recognize any of the writers or producers when i read the inside credits of the cd. I hate to say this but, It will probably be another 10 years before Stephanie Mills releases another cd, She is known for leaving her fans hanging waiting year after year for a cd to surface.
